Farmers receive up to BGN 72 million to overcome the damage caused by Covid-19

The Board of Directors of the State Fund for Agriculture (SFA Management Board) has allocated a budget of up to BGN 72 million to help farmers mitigate and overcome the economic damage caused by the pandemic due to Covid-19. State aid is provided under the Farmers' Liquidity Support Scheme to overcome the negative economic impact of Covid-19. The scheme has been notified by the European Commission under the Temporary Framework for State aid measures due to the coronary crisis.
